HIVE Summer Internships 2024-25
CALL FOR PROJECT PROPOSALS
The HIVE Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity for motivated students to gain valuable research project experience in visualisation related topics during a paid summer internship. Interns are supervised by leading researchers and undertake challenging research projects utilising the high-tech resources provided by the Curtin HIVE. Projects can come from any research field.
Eligible
students have completed 2nd year through to PhD and can be on Bentley campus through
the summer. The scholarship award to students is $7000 per student.
The primary
supervisor must be an academic staff member at Curtin University. Academic primary
supervisors host intern students over the 10-week period. HIVE Visualisation Specialists
are assigned to each project to give technical, visualisation and project support.
Students have access to the HIVE two afternoons a week, with additional access available upon request. Workshops are delivered by the HIVE team throughout the program, to support student
development.
All projects must demonstrate use of visualisation and HIVE
facilities, to be considered.

proposals can only be submitted by Curtin academic staff.

Drop-in Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 14th August 2024 from 1pm - 3pm in HIVE.
Academics are encouraged to attend to discuss their project proposals.
